Update on Frozen Viewcounts


We've heard from creators over the past few days that some public viewcounts have been frozen. We're sorry for the issue and we're close to fixing it. In the meantime, here's what you need to know:
  1. While the public viewcount is stuck, all your views are still being recorded, and are visible in YouTube Analytics. 
  2. AdSense impressions are not affected by this data backlog. 
You should see the results of our fixes within the next couple of days, and until all public viewcount updates have occurred, YouTube Analytics remains the most timely and accurate source of views data.

Thank you for your patience with these fixes, and hope your 2012 is off to a great start.

  5. Hello, since adsense and Google analitycs changed it seems that the earnings are fewer. I wonder if the way clics are counted has influenced on this and above all why haven't you informed us about that downsizing of the incomes? (It was obvious when you could compare both systems)

    My earnings have gone down around 40% with that change. Is that the crisis?

  10. Hello Folks,
    My Vids also have conflicting numbers. It used to be a popular video would hit 300 or so and freeze for a day, then they would continuously update from then on. Now the counts conflict and seem to not be counting like they used to. I am amazed at the way it all works anyway, and know it must be quite complicated for you guys. Good luck and Thanks for working on such incredible projects.

  12. okay so this problem is still happening with me, and as soon as it happened my adsense earning went down like 1000% which isnt right, I was getting 4K+ views a day now adsense says like 500 maybe!so this is affecting my adsense

  13. Analytics doesn't work (update)since 1/5/12 and views aren't accurate. Ran a promotion and view counts don't match at all (in a negative way).

  14. my analytics count hasnt moved for 6 days now and is still 2 days behind on the date and the main channel count is 10000 behind that

    is there any news on this please thanks spud

  16. What bothers me is that it's not the first time it happens..
    YouTube & Google are the most powerful in the world ; how come they don't test programs BEFORE lauching it and causing these huge bugs ?

  17. what bothers me is there is no help section. I tried to change my pass word and when typing in my e mail address left out 1 number there for can't reopen the channel. what is possible? no tech help any where.

  19. This is not fixed and still happening to us little guys who have less than 2300 views and do not use cheatbots! Meanwhile the puking cat videos log millions per day without stopping?
